I wanted to check out a craft fair in Lahaina, but unfortunately it was small and people were already packing up their stalls when we arrived. We decided to explore Lahaina, in more depth than the other day, so we did the walking tour suggested in one of our guidebooks.
We started at the Banyan Tree and the Old Lahaina Courthouse (and jail) and walked north on Front Street. Highlights included along the way included jewelry stores, T-shirt shops, Hard Rock Cafe, Bubba Gump Shrimp (I of course decided to cross the street to avoid the man dressed up as a giant shrimp with a top hat), Honolulu Cookie Company (free samples!), the Baldwin House, Ho Wing Museum, and Ono Gelato (we shared a coconut and strawberry-guava cup).
We headed back to Kihei, stopping at an scenic overlook, where Corey took this picture of Lana'i.
We made it back to our condo in time for another spectacular sunset. We will eat our frozen lau laus from Foodland and leftovers from lunch, for dinner.
