Stranded in Salt Lake

We spent today in Salt Lake City, although we were originally supposed to go to southern Utah. Unfortunately, an unexpected issue with the car (and the ability to not find parts on a Sunday in Salt Lake City) meant that we were going to take a day to slow down and catch up with everything we've been going without, which mostly means a lot of sleep and relaxation.
Our highlight of the day (besides sitting in the waiting room at PepBoys for six hours) was a trip downtown to see the state Capitol, and the central temple complex for the Latter-Day Saints Church. The complex is sprawling and truly impressive.
Other than that, we just spent a quiet night around the hotel and the pool. Hopefully, tomorrow we'll be on our way...
